Who We Are
We are Kvalley Computers and Internet. From
computer repair and computer service, web design, internet service and computer support,
the name says it all. We are the Ellensburg area's oldest
full service computer store and first Internet Service
Provider. In fact, we are one of the oldest internet providers in all
Washington State.
We started out as a computer store in 1986 and public internet service was in its infancy
in 1994 when our very first customer logged in. We haven't looked back
since. From dialup service in 1994, DSL in 2003, wireless in 2006, and now XFiber we
are the the most comprehensive provider in Ellensburg and Kittitas County. In fact, we were
voted "Best of The Best -- Kittitas County" in both 2009 and 2010, the only
two years the computer/internet category has been on the ballot. We know we're the best
and our customers agree.
XFiber is the fastest, most reliable service available in Kittitas County.
With speeds up to 30 megabits, you can
stream video, download the biggest of files and video chat with your friends
and family without interruption.
We Do A Lot!
We provide great internet service and great computer repair and support to the Ellensburg area (including Thorp, Vantage, Kittitas, Cle Elum and Roslyn). It's what we do better than anyone else. We value our customers and that value shows in our service and dedication to them. If you talk with a Kvalley customer, you will see why we're the first choice for internet service, computer sales and service and web design and hosting for Ellensburg and the entire Kittitas County. We intend to keep it that way!

Delicious Downtown
We're in kind of a great location. 3rd and Main. I mean, how much more small-town, "Main Street" can you get.
I just wish I had a white picket fence around the store to complete the whole image.
Anyway, we get a fair amount of people through the store, quite often out-of-towners. One of the more common questions we get, after computer- and internet-related questions, is
"Where is there a good place to eat close by?" So, here's my list. Not really in any particular order but I have eaten and continue to eat at all these places. These are my favorites:
Yellow Church Cafe. Oh, boy! I just had one of the best steaks I'd had in a long time there. It's a cafe, noise and all. You talk, you laugh, the people in the next table laugh and quite often, they're laughing at the joke you just told. Gordy Wollen, proprietor of the Cafe, will pop out of nowhere, pull up a chair at your table and open a bottle of wine from his wine shop (we'll talk about
Ellensburg Wine Works later. Man, is that a fun place to spend a few hours every week.). You don't feel guilty about being loud. It's kinda like Thanksgiving dinner with a bunch of relatives you just met. And they do lunch and do it well. Heavenly Loaf, anyone?

Ellensburg Wine Works
Great sandwiches, salads and cheese plates. I usually eat here at least once a week, mostly with friends and almost always with a glass of something Italian and red. Wineworks has a terrific world-wide wine selection. Washington, Oregon,
California, Italy, France, Spain and Portugal and even Hungary. It's not a limited wine selection, to say the least, and Matt and Sue know more about wines and their everyday drinking than anyone I know and their enthusiam is catching.
Every eight or nine weeks they have an invitation-only food and wine pairing for 15 people. If you don't mind spending 3 hours sampling wine and food on a Saturday night, put your name in early because those gatherings fill up fast.
And there are the First Friday tastings that you shouldn't miss. And lest I forget, for you beer and ale drinkers there are 40-some beers and ales from around the world that you shouldn't miss. Many of them are hard-to-find
offerings that Matt brings in out of the blue and then they're gone. Am I enthusiastic about this place? You bet!
Ellensburg Wine Works
Panda Garden. Granted, they're right across the street from us so it's convenient but I like their food, especially the Mongolian beef and Mandarin chicken. If you're vegetarian, the veggie and tofu dishes are right up your alley and very good. We grab takeout from there at least twice a week. 925-2090
Roadhouse Grill.
Ok. It's not downtown but it's worth a visit and then a return visit. We've been there for breakfast (weekends only), lunch, dinner, happy hour...you should go, too. Large menu but some great daily specials. The tomato/basil bisque is great, the portions are large and the food is good. Oh, yeah...the bar selection is better than most places and the bartenders know how to make a good Manhattan (Knob Creek bourbon). Try it once, you'll be back. http://www.theroadhousegrill.net
That's a good start for now. I'll add more later but that's the list I always start with when someone asks me where to get a good/fun/interesting/best place to eat in town meal.
